Independent Bar Association of Utah
{IBA}
WE ARE IN OUR DISCOVERY STAGE OF DEVELOPMENT
The concept of Independent Bar Association of Utah is for Pro se litigants where they can learn from each other's experiences, it is intriguing and potentially very beneficial. A platform where individuals representing themselves in court could share their experiences,, and insights. This could potentially help pro se litigants navigate the often complex world of law more effectively.
There are already several resources available that offer information and support for pro se litigants, such as:
Legal aid organization Legal-Aid-Now - Get Legal Assistance Today
Self-help legal websites. Utah State Courts Self-Help
Law libraries. Utah State Law Library
Library staff continue to provide help by phone
Phone: 801-238-7990
While these resources can be invaluable, none of them fully addresses the concept of a peer to peer support group for prose litigants. IBA is the place where individuals can share their personal experiences and learn from each other; it is a much needed welcome addition to these resources.
Overall, IBA is for pro se litigants, where it could help individuals feel less isolated and more empowered in their legal journey. However, it is important to remember that even with such a support network, legal advice should always be sought from a qualified professional when possible.
